Gloria Dean Parnell

Gloria Dean Parnell, of Covington, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the age of 89. Mrs.  Parnell was a very independent woman and hard worker. She was extremely opinionated, strong willed, and straightforward with everyone. Mrs. Parnell was family oriented and very giving to her loved ones. She adored her family and treasured spending time with them. Mrs. Parnell was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Franklin Parnell; daughter, Shelly Parnell; parents, Theodore Raymond and Ruth Campbell.

She is survived by her daughter, Yvette Parnell; grandchildren, Drew Banks (April), Jordan Walker; great-grandchildren, Jersey Patrick, Jaxson Banks; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Parnell will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Darrell Allen officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to her service from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M.
