Grace Fischer of Conyers, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, at the age of 89. Of the Christian faith, Mrs. Fischer loved her family, adored her cats and dogs and had an infectious sense of humor. In addition to her impeccable work as a seamstress, she shared her vast talents through her artwork of both paintings and sketches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Fischer; parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Duffey; sisters, Evelyn Massey, Virginia Ruff, Sue Duffey, Darlene Shadix; and brother, Robert Duffey.
Survivors include her nieces, Sarilda White, DeAnn Ruff, Kay Middlebrooks, Fay Massey, Monica Knox, Andrea Richardson; nephews, Kim Ruff, Ed Ruff, David Ruff, Mark Massey, Kerry Knox; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19, and coronavirus pandemic recommendations, the family regrets that the services must be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reformers Unanimous Ministries, in honor of Mrs. Grace Fischer, located in Rockford, IL 61104, local new Chapter Canaan Baptist Church, https://www.mynewcanaan.org/give
