Grace L. Woodruff

Floyd StreetGrace L. Woodruff of Porterdale, passed away September 27, 2012, at the age of 91. Mrs. Woodruff was born in Butts County, and was a longtime resident of Porterdale for 67 years. She loved her family, and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her household. Mrs. Woodruff was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Benjamin "Frank" Woodruff; and her parents, William Mick and Emma Lee (Leverette) Lynch.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Earl Tolleson of Newborn; son and daughter-in-law, R.F. (Butch) and Deborah Woodruff of Covington; sister, Alma Fisher of Porterdale; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Ann Lynch of Covington; grandchildren, Teresa Tolleson, Deidra and Larry Harper, Robin and Donny Herron; great-grandchildren, Destiny Harper, Tommy Herron; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Woodruff will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Pastor Adam Cooper officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, September 29, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
