Harold Hoffman, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the age of 85. Mr. Hoffman proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved God and attended Beth Yeshua International synagogue. Huff and Carol traveled a lot for pleasure and served as missionary help in Brazil and Isreal. Mr. Hoffman worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for many years. He enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles and collecting old cars. Mr. Hoffman lived on Jackson Lake where he loved to look at the lake from his recliner. He also enjoyed good food and fellowshipping with his family, had a million friends, and never met a stranger. Mr. Hoffman lived life his way and was happy with his life. He was a wonderful husband, and father, and was loved dearly by all his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Dora Glenn Hoffman; brother, Dewey Hoffman, Jr.; son-in-law, Benji Meredith; and best friend, Larry Burney.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Carol Hoffman; daughters, Peri Herring (Frank), Jeri Meredith, Heidi Pitt (Josh); grandchildren, Jordan, Ally, Jonah, Aubrey, Ambriel, Jesse; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Hayden, Bryson, Amiyah, Robbie, Sage, Presley; as well as his nephews, Tim Hoffman, Tom Hoffman.
