Harriette Cabe

Harriette Cabe of Mansfield passed away December 10, 2015, at the age of 80. Mrs. Cabe was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, where she was very active and one of the eldest attending members. She volunteered with Abbey Hospice. Mrs. Cabe dearly loved spending time with her family, fellowship with her church and enjoyed reading. A loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and sister, she will be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Linton Cabe; and her parents, Osmer Lee and Ila Mae (Terry) Green.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Lee Jackson of Dacula; sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Marybeth of Conyers, Jimmy Cabe of Mansfield; grandchildren and their spouses, Shane and Barbara Cabe, James Cabe, Tammy and Josh McIntyre, Melissa and Ace Gleeson, Christopher Cabe, Jason Cabe, Jenny Tatum, Allana Simmons; great-grandchildren, Sophia Cabe, Gracie Cabe, Clara McIntyre, Hunter Cabe, Easten Ingram; sister, Genie Green; one niece, Teresa Cain.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cabe will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015, 1:00 PM, at Crossroads Baptist Church with Brandon Stanley officiating and interment following in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may join the family for visitation Friday, December 11, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington and Saturday, December 12, from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM, at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Crossroads Baptist Church, 227 County Road 229, Social Circle, GA 30025.
