Harvey L. Harp

Harvey L. Harp of Union Point, passed away May 8, 2010 at the age of 62. Mr. Harp loved being outdoors, and enjoyed fishing and cooking out. He dearly loved his grandchildren. Mr. Harp was preceded in death by his son, Harvey Lee Harp, Jr.; parents, Fred Joe and Mary Lee (Hays) Harp; sister, Jewell Greene; and brother, Joe Harp. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Harp; sons, Jason Harp of Watkinsville, Justin Harp of Washington, GA, Steve Harp of Union Point; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth Crowe of Jackson, Margaret Kirk of Monroe, Betty and David Phelps of Social Circle, Nola Hodges of Monroe, Diane Peters of Monroe; brothers, James Harp of Covington, J.B. Harp of Union Point. A Memorial Service for Mr. Harp will be held at a later date.
