Hilda Jean Adcock

Hilda Jean Adcock, of Covington, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the age of 78. Mrs. Adcock was a hard-working, strong lady who loved her family. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, taking yearly vacations and loved playing Bingo. Mrs. Adcock was preceded in death by her parents, John Nelson and Albertine Vanderslice; and siblings, Diane Nelson, Billy Wayne Nelson, and Dan Nelson.

Survivors include her sons, Travis Wayne Whitworth, Tracy Lee Whitworth; grandchildren, Tabatha, Sarah, Jade, Summer; sisters, Joyce, Joan, Charmain; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Adcock will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023, 3:00 P.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington, with Chris Keys officiating and bereavement at Opus Care Hospice, 5040 Snapfinger Woods Drive Suite 204A, in Stonecrest.
