HO Williams of Covington passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the age of 87. HO had a strong sense of family, a deep belief in God, and took a great deal of pride in his role as father and provider. HO was an excellent entrepreneur having setup and run Dynamic Tool & Die successfully for over 50 years. He was well-respected as an honorable and trustworthy businessman. He mentored and taught his son, Gene, all he knew and they worked side by side for over forty years. HO was also a Navy veteran, having served during the Korean conflict. HO and his wife, Ann, were instrumental in aiding in the startup of the Harmony Voluntary Fire Department located in Eatonton, Georgia. HO was friendly and outgoing - he loved golfing, dancing, listening to music, and attending horse races with his friends. He could be found outside, when at home, working in his vegetable garden, with his flowers, or working with wood. HO was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 49 years, Ann Williams; parents, Elisha and Mary Lynn Williams; and three siblings.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Dolores Williams of Covington, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Vicki Wilson of Panama City Beach, FL, Shari and Clay Loyd of Stockbridge, GA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Dot Baxter of Powder Springs, GA, Betty and Jimmy Duke of Smyrna, GA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation for HO Williams will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019, from 1:00 -4:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
