Inez Mitchell Smith

Mrs. Inez Mitchell Smith, 90, of Covington died April 24, 2012 at At Home Hospice in Conyers. She was a member of Christ Cornerstone Church in Covington. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Berry Curtis Smith; daughter, Margaret (Smith) Dickerson; son, Curtis James Smith; and parents, Willie James and Lucille O'Neal (Ricks) Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Mary Alice and Thomas Crisp of Oxford, Deborah Elaine Newton of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Donna Smith of Covington; daughter-in-law, Vicki Smith of Thomaston; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Lucille Hunt of Conyers, Agnes Gualtney of Covington, Ann and Tom Chase of Conyers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Theron and Shirley Mitchell of Conyers, Jack and Myrtle Mitchell, Paul and Judy Mitchell all of Monticello, Larry and Ruth Mitchell of Oxford; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Smith will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Christ Cornerstone Church, 1020 Oak Hill Road, in Covington with Pastor Darryl Payne and Paul Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens in Conyers. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday, April 25, from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
