Jack Reginald Aiken

Access RoadMr. Jack Reginald Aiken, age 80, of Lithonia, GA (formerly of Conyers, GA) died on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Mr. Aiken was a 1947 graduate of Conyers High School and attended Atlanta Division of the University of Georgia. He worked as a commercial and residential real estate broker in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Mr. Aiken was a U.S. Army veteran and long time member of the American Legion in Conyers. He was Vice President and contributing member of the Rockdale Arts Alliance. Mr. Aiken was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Tyree and Florence Viola (Sharp) Aiken, older brother, John Artryee Aiken, and sister, Janie Eleanor Aiken. He is survived by his sister, Ouida Mae (Peggy) Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Delano and Theresa Aiken; sister-in-law, Barbara Aiken; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Thursday, April 29, 2010, at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Oxford Historical Cemetery on Highway 81 in Oxford, GA. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 28, 2010, from 4-8 PM.
