Jack Pace of Oxford passed away February 11, 2013 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle. He was 60 years of age at the time of his death. Mr. Pace enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR races, and playing with RC cars. He was a fix-it man and will be remembered as a dedicated family man. Mr. Pace was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Pace.
Survivors include his wife, Susie Pace of Oxford; daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Dwayne Herndon of Monticello; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Sheena Pace of Covington, Greg and Jayne Pace, Michael Pace, all of Monticello; grandchildren, Shane Griffith, Jeffrey Griffith, Kyle Pace, Jim Bob Herndon, Zachary Sertain, Kaitlin Pace, Chelsea Pace, Zackery Crumbliss, Cadee Herndon, Isabelle Pace, Jayden Pace; mother, Edna Pace of Colbert; sisters; Frances Pace of Colbert, Gloria Bates of Monroe, and Sue Nash of Danielsville.
Funeral Services for Mr. Pace will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, February 15, 2013, in the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Terry Casper and Rev. Jason Parr officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, February 14, from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
