Jackie Durden

Jackie Durden of Covington, passed away, Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 71 years of age. A member of Central Community Church, Jackie shared her passion for singing with the church family she loved so dearly. When not enjoying time with her with family, including her dogs, she volunteered for Repairers of the Breach. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Lee and Pearl Estelle Conner; and brothers, Donald Conner, Doyle Conner.

Survivors include her husband, Horace Durden; sons and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Jamie Durden, Timothy Durden; daughter, Lisa Smith, all of Covington; grandchildren, Miracle Jones, Angel Durden, Hunter Durden, James Durden, Jennifer Smith, David Smith, and Alicia Smith.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Durden will be held Sunday, June 11, 2017, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Covington City Cemetery, Covington. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home, Saturday, June 10, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
