James V. Garner

James V. Garner departed peacefully from this world to join his heavenly Father on October 24, 2015. He was a wonderful, dedicated family man and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held November 15, 2015, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, GA. Donations can be made to the Sardis Cemetery Fund, in memory of James V. Garner, 2996 Highway 81 N, Oxford, GA 30054.

Mr. Garner's cremated remains will be buried at Sardis Cemetery in Oxford, GA, beside his beloved wife, Betty Jane Henderson Garner, who preceded him in death on May 10, 2010. A private family graveside service will take place at a future date.

My life has been full, I've savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now, He set me free!
