James Henry King

Access Road James Henry King, of Newborn, passed away on October 19, 2012, at the age of 68.  He worked for Crystal Farms for 25 years.  Mr. King loved gardening, hunting, and being outside.  He loved his family and was a very loving father and husband.  He also loved his grandchildren dearly.  Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Victor and Vinnie Mae (Plott) King; sister, Christine Griggs; and brothers, Holmes Brown King, Clifford King, June King.   Survivors include his wife, Wanda King of Newborn; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Marty Smallwood of Mansfield; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Michelle King, of Lafayette, TN; grandchildren, Blake and Tyler Smallwood, Hannah and Ryan King; sister, Donnie Lee, of Powder Springs; brother, Leon King, of Morganton, GA; and several nieces and nephews.   Funeral Services for Mr. King will be held Monday, October 22, 2012, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating, and interment following in Newborn Cemetery, in Newborn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, October 21, from 6-8 PM.
