James Laudermilk, Sr., of Social Circle, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the age of 73. Mr. Laudermilk was the owner of Triple J Transport in Newton County. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and in the woods hunting. Mr. Laudermilk also coached Little League Football. He loved his family and adored his wife. Mr. Laudermilk was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Bennett Laudermilk; son, Steve Laudermilk; and parents, Thelma and John Laudermilk.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Evans, Trisha Jones; sons, James Laudermilk, Jr.; Alex Laudermilk; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Laudermilk will be held Monday, March 7, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Carter Memorial Cemetery, GA-81, in Loganville. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home two hours prior to his service from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Donate Life America through their website, https://www.donatelife.net/ .
