James "Jim" Thompson

Access RoadJames "Jim" Thompson of Covington, passed away February 18, 2013, at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Alton Thompson; two sisters and two brothers.Survivors include his wife, Faye A. Thompson; sons, William S. Thompson of Toledo, OH, Bart Thompson, Vincent Thompson, both of Panama City, FL; step-daughter, Sandra and Craig Stevens of Covington; sister, Laura Edwards of Thomaston; special grandchildren, Garrett Stevens, Mackenzie Stevens; several nieces, nephews, and other grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Thompson will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Phillip Bone officiating, and entombment following at Memory Chapel Mausoleum in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, two hours prior to his service, from 12:00 - 2:00 PM.
