Jamie Felix

Jamie G. Felix resident of Covington, Georgia passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024, while surrounded by her family. Jamie was born in Ripley, Mississippi on May 30, 1935 to Leslie and Jimmy Mohundro. Jamie graduated from Faulkner High School in Faulkner, Mississippi, and subsequently graduated from Business School in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church for over 40 years, where she participated in the St. Joseph’s Guild Ministry. Jamie was devoted to her family and loved attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events throughout the years. She is remembered for her enduring kindness and the respectful way she treated everyone she met. As we mourn her loss, we take solace in the legacy of love and service she leaves behind. She was predeceased by her husband, Cal Felix; her parents, Leslie and Jimmy Mohundro, and brothers Jimmy Dale and Jerry Mohundro.

She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Felix, Elena Felix; son, Calvin Felix (Charlene); as well as grandsons, Ryan Lambert, Justin Felix, and Jared Felix; sister, Barbara Rowell; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church with a reception immediately following the mass.
