Jane Moss, age 52, of Rutledge, died February 12, 2011, at Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers. Born in Oswego, New York, the daughter of the late George Anthony and Jean Marie Bendzunas. An educator employed by Morgan County Board of Education, Jane enjoyed teaching children with special needs on a one-on-one basis. She loved photography, travel, cooking, baking, and frogs. A member of the United Methodist Church, Jane loved praise and worship, and to teach Bible study. A volunteer with Relay for Life, Jane was a selfless caregiver, a great encourager of other cancer patients, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Surviving are her loving husband, Pastor Mickey Moss; daughters and son-in-law, Theresa and Matt Hastings of Denver, CO and Jessi Moss of Athens; grandson, Jackson Hastings of Denver, CO; sister, Christine Fulcher of Chesapeake, VA; brothers, John Bendzunas of Aurora, IL, Paul Bendzunas of Comer, Bob Bendzunas of Virginia Beach, VA, and Steve Bendzunas of Cleveland, OH.
A Celebration of the Life of Jane Moss will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Gaithers United Methodist Church, with Rev. Charles Swaney, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 1215 Access Road, Tuesday, February 15, from 2 until 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Morgan County Primary School Relay for Lilfe Team.
