Jane Elizabeth Tebault

Jane Elizabeth Tebault, a native of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the age of 63. Jane enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and doing yardwork. Additionally, she loved traveling, especially to the beach. Jane was a kind, generous, and selfless woman; doing more for others than she did for herself. she had a big heart for animals, particularly for dogs. Jane cherished her grandchildren dearly; they were the light of her life. she was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Hugh Tebault (Hoop); and brother, John Hugh Tebault.

Jane moved to Georgia in 1982 and lived in Covington for 30 years. She worked for CR Bard/BD for 21 years before retiring in February 2021. Jane lived in Social Circle, Georgia with her extended family before she passed away after battling pancreatic cancer for 2 ½ years.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Nichole Guest (Hardy); bonus daughter, Courtney Wild; mother and stepfather, Gene and Nan Wigginton Vest; stepmother, Barbara Jo Tebault (Josie); grandchildren, Tristen David Guest, Trinity Nicole Guest, Prentice Maurice Stokeling, Jr. (MJ); great-grandchildren, Jayceon Trenton Guest; niece, Amanda Lee Tebault (McKnight); and nephew, Tyler John Tebault.

A Celebration of Life for Jane will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, 4:00 – 6:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
