Jason Ray Osborne “The Duck”, of Jackson, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at the age of 83. Mr. Osborne was a mason. He enjoyed spending time outdoors camping in his motorhome and being on the lake boating, partying, and fishing. Mr. Osborne liked watching all sports, but had special interests in football, baseball, and NASCAR. He loved to race go karts and play poker. Above all else, Mr. Osborne was a family man first and went the extra mile to make them all happy, especially at the lake. He treasured his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Mr. Osborne was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Osborne; and parents, Carl and Helen Osborne.
He is survived by his children, Karl Wade Osborne (Tina), Robin Morgan (Randy), Ronda Cruz (Cruz); grandchildren, Amanda Leanne Osborne (Jason), Jason Ryan Osborne, Biancia Marie Liller (Robbie), Tyler Jacob Morgan, Kimberly Joe Morgan, Ashley Nicole Sanford (Bruce), Heather Breann Warren (James); great-grandchildren, Jaden Reese Brewer, Sophia Lydia Brewer, Madison Harper Liller, Tylin Jordan Morgan, Landen Lane Morgan, Arya Kate Morgan, Elliot Dean Warren, Layia Ri-Ann Warren, Sage Antonio Martinez; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Osborne will be held Monday, September 26, 2022, 3:30 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home four and a half hours prior to his service from 11:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
