Jean Camp Boyer of Conyers, passed away December 26, 2014, at the age of 83. Mrs. Boyer was raised in Haleyville, Alabama, to the late John and Floy (McCrellis) Camp. She retired from Bellsouth after 32 years of dedicated service. Mrs. Boyer was a very talented cook, and enjoyed traveling and entertaining her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Andrew Boyer.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debby and Joe Kirby of Dothan, AL; granddaughter, Emily Ann Kirby of St. Simons Island, GA; grandson, Ryan Andrew Kirby of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Polly Connelly, Linda Callaghan; brothers, Jack Camp, Louie Camp, all of Chicago, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Boyer will be held Monday, December 29, 2014, 1:00 PM, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, in Duluth. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Sunday, December 28, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
