Jean Craven Payton

Floyd StreetJean Craven Payton of Lake City, GA, passed away March 24, 2010, at the age of 71. Mrs. Payton was born in Rutledge, and raised in Porterdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Payton. Survivors include her sons, Chris Craven of Lake City, Wayne Craven and Vicki of Grantville, Jeff Craven and Reggie of Pensacola, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Wayne Simmons of Locust Grove; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Craven will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010, 11 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, with Rev. Dickie Johnson officiating, and interment following in the Baptist Cemetery in Porterdale. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, March 26, from 6-8 PM.
