Access RoadJean Stubbs Willingham of Covington, passed away March 29, 2012, at the age of 86. Mrs. Willingham was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington, and the Joy Bearers Sunday School Class. She was known as a wonderful baker, and was especially known for her delicious cakes. She enjoyed flower gardening, and was known to be able to make anything grow. Mrs. Willingham was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Willingham; great-grandson, Hunter McMullen; and her parents, Fred and Pauline (Lister) Stubbs. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Brenda and Tim O'Shea of Bend, OR, Beau and Debbie Willingham of The Villages, FL, Charles Willingham of Atlanta, Debra and Paul Hackett of Conyers; brother and sister-in-law, Clack and Hazel Stubbs of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Susan Strible, Amy Kelsey, Jill Thomas, Tiffany Trigg, Leigh O'Quinn, Lisa Danford, Kelly McMullen, Walter Hackett; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Willingham will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Clack Stubbs officiating, and interment following in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, one hour prior to the service, from 10:00-11:00 AM. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, 1687 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
