Jeanette Hardy Nipper of Covington, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020, at the age of 81. Mrs. Nipper was a resident of Covington and the Jackson Lake area since 1983 and was a past member of Red Oak United Methodist Church. She loved listening to music and dancing and enjoyed bowling and quilting. Mrs. Nipper was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Nipper; parents, Woodrow and Catherine (Waller) Hardy; and sister, Ida Kay Smoak.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jenny and Mike Lowry, Jackie and Mick Steele; son and daughter-in-law, Jonny and Shannon Nipper, six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Ann Portwood, Sandra Gay; brother and sister-in-law, Erquit and Pat Hardy; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Nipper will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020, 10:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Justin Adams officiating. Interment will take place 1:00 P.M., at Mountain View Park Cemetery, 410 Whitlock Ave. NW, in Marietta. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Sunday, September 27, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
