Jeanne Harper

Jeanne Harper, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, at the age of 92. For over 40 years Mrs. Harper attended Shiloh Baptist Church, in Newborn, where she was active with The Joy Sunday School Class. For the last 10 years she also attended Union Hill Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband, Barron Hays Harper; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Rev. Harold Thompson; son and daughter-in-law, Barron, Jr., and Jackie Harper; sister and brother-in-law, Babe and Bernard Smith; brother, Carl Scheppel; grandchildren and their spouses, David and Christy Harper, Tammy Harper, David and Jessi Bailey, Kitty and Shane Jones, Trey Thompson, Kristi Thompson; great-grandchildren, Jaydon Holmes, Ashton Thompson, Damian Bailey, Brittany Harper, Ryan Harper, Tyler Harper, Gabriel Jones, Thomas Jones, Breanna Jones, Kaylee Jones.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Harper will be held Monday, April 22, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at Shiloh Baptist Church, 9595 Highway 142, in Newborn, with Rev. Harold Thompson and Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating and interment following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the church, two hours prior to her service, from 12 Noon - 2:00 P.M.
