Jean Searcy Leroy

Jean Searcy LeRoy, 94, of Conyers, went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2023. Mrs. LeRoy was a member of Zion Baptist Church and Young at Heart class. She was also a member of Deerelicts. In her spare time, Mrs. LeRoy enjoyed reading and collecting stamps. She was preceded in death in 2019 by her husband. Milton LeRoy of Conyers; and sisters, Dorothy Adkinson, Sue Morrow.

Immediate survivors are daughter, Barbara Chasteen; granddaughters, Rebecca "Becky" Ethridge, Jessica (Robert) Slade, and Jaime (David) Adams; four great-grandchildren, Joey Colon, Haley Adams, Bryson Slade, and Brielle Slade; and one great-great-granddaughter, Josephine Colon; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Coming Home Celebration for Mrs. LeRoy will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023, 2:00 P.M., at Zion Baptist Church, 7037 Highway 212, in Covington, with Pastor Adam Ganong officiating and interment following in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the church, one hour prior to her service, from 1:00pm – 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Baptist Church – Family Life Center, 7037 Highway 212, Covington, GA 30016.
