Jeff Lamb of Covington, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the age of 48. Jeff was a 1989 graduate of Newton County High School and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed many sports including playing disc golf with “The Girls”. He especially liked cheering on his favorite teams, the Braves and Falcons. Jeff and his wife, Robin, were each other’s world. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and father, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Larry Lamb; sisters, Terri Coggin, Toni Eason; step-dad Donald Griffin; father-in-law, Billy Lindsey.
Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Robin Lamb; daughters and son-in-law, Kylie Lamb, Kelsey and Brandon Murray; step-daughter, Christine White and husband, Kenny; grandchildren, Cameron, Austin, Andrew, and Ava; mother, Joann Griffin; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Myrna Jones; close family members, Eric Coggin, Paul Coggin, Mark Osborne, Rhonda George, Michelle Deda; many other loving family members; as well as his fur babies, Rusty, Pacho and Bailey.
A Graveside Service for Jeff will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2020, 2:00 P.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Mike Hardy officiating.
