Jeffery Keith Broxton

Jeffery Keith Broxton, Sr., of Covington, passed away January 4, 2015, at the age of 56. Jeff was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Eatonton, until his sickness prohibited from attending. He supported all church activities, but missions were closest to his heart. Once diagnosed with ALS, Jeff's main focus was leading as many people to Christ, as possible. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather, who was a dedicated family man and always cared more about his family and friends than himself. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, David C. Broxton, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Glenda Broxton; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jason Lawrence; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery, Jr. and Renee Broxton, all of Covington; grandchildren, Haleigh Broxton, Cameron Lawrence, Matthew Broxton, Caleb Lawrence, Makayla Broxton, Annaleigh Lawrence; mother, Marie Broxton; sister, Cindy Hegwood, both of Shady Dale; brothers, David Broxton of Stockbridge, Fletcher Broxton of McDonough; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Jeff will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015, 2:00 PM, at The Baptist Tabernacle, in Covington, with Pastor Jeff Hegwood officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Tuesday, January 6, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
