Jeri Lynn Koontz

Jeri Lynn Koontz, of Social Circle, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the age of 71. Mrs. Koontz was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, of Covington. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, playing piano, woodworking with her husband, Don, and traveling with her nieces. In addition, Mrs. Koontz liked to volunteer, especially at the Red Cross and hospitals. She loved her family and spending time with them. Mrs. Koontz had a heart of love and kept a good spirit through struggles. Mrs. Koontz was preceded in death by her husband, Don Lindhon; and father, John Koontz.

Survivors include her mother, Margaret “Peg” Koontz; sister, Terri Anne; brother, John Mark Koontz (Kathy) nieces and nephews, Kelly, Erin, Zack, great-nieces and great-nephews, Tori, Spencer, Tyler, Justin; as well as other loving family members.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Koontz will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington, with Bishop Ken Avery officiating.
