Jerri (Effie) Kerr

Access RoadJerri (Effie) Kerr of Conyers, passed away August 25, 2011, at the age of 96. She attended Moody's School of Nursing, in Dothan, AL, where she earned her Registered Nursing degree. Mrs. Kerr enjoyed crafts, gardening, and traveling with her late husband, Hardy. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Kerr was preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Lee Kerr; and her parents, Charlie Clifton and Mattie Zula (Dorsey) Jordan.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Jim Hollingsworth; son, David Kerr, all of Conyers; several nieces and nephews.A Graveside Service for Mrs. Kerr will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011, 2:00 PM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, with Mr. Robert Poole officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, GA, Friday, August 26, from 5-7 PM.
