Jessie Marion Floyd

Jessie Marion Floyd, of Covington, passed away on July 13, 2013, at the age of 81. Mrs. Floyd married her husband, Harold in 1953. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling and collecting dolls and angels. She loved reading her Bible and listening to gospel music. Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Floyd; and her parents, John Liss and Ora (McKinney) Payne.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Floyd of Covington; son, Billy Floyd also of Covington; grandson, Shane Floyd of Conyers; granddaughter, Bonnie Allen of Covington; great-grandchildren, Travis Floyd, Chris Floyd, Bodhi Allen, Michael Warden, Lyric Warden, Courtney Fiddie, and Jessie Floyd.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Floyd will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013, 11:00 AM, at the Voice of Pentecost, 4648 Salem Road, in Covington, with Rev. Gavin Moon officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church July 16, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, prior to the service.
