Access Road Jewel L. Skelton, of Covington, passed away November 30, 2012, at the age of 89. She loved helping and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed going to church and growing flowers. Mrs. Skelton is preceded in death by first husband, Fred A. Wilson and second husband, Bill Skelton; great-grandson, Anderson Curtis; and parents David Carl and Aussie Emily Lunsford. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Bubba Curtis; son and daughter-in-law, Carlton and Rhonda Wilson all of Covington; 8 grandchildren, Christy Curtis, Cindy Kite, Chuck Curtis, Chad Curtis, Carl Wilson, Angie Cronan, Adam Wilson, and Brittany Shannon; 10 great-grandchildren, Kris Kite, Marcus Kite, Karley Curtis, Kayla Curtis, Michael Cronan, Carlynn Wilson, Mollie Cronan, Hays Wilson, Zach Wilson and Keylee Wilson; great-great grandson, Michael Kite; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Skelton will be held Monday, December 3, 2012, 2:00 PM, Julia A. Porter Memorial United Methodist Church, in Porterdale, with Rev. Kelly Brisendine and Bill Norton officiating, and interment following in Sardis Baptist Cemetery, in McDonough. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, December 2, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Memorial Video
