Jimmy Glenn Sanders

Jimmy Glenn Sanders, of Covington, passed away August 2, 2015, at the age of 75. Mr. Sanders enjoyed spending time with his family and friends but he especially cherished the time he spent hunting with his son. He attended Eastridge Community Church where he was a member of the Joyful Noise Group. Mr. Sanders will be remembered as a hard-working man who was a wonderful provider for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Calvin and Addie (Glenn) Sanders.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Shelda Jean Sanders; son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Tracy Sanders, all of Covington; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Sanders will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Scott Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 8, two hours prior to the service, from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Mr. Sanders may be made to American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605.
