Jo Anne Creed

Jo Anne Creed, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the age of 69. Jo Ann retired from GBI-GCIC in 2013 after 34 years of dedicated service. She returned to GCIC and worked as a retire/rehire employee until she passed. Jo Anne had a passion for criminal history and proper dissemination of background-related work. During her time at GBI, she made many lifelong friends, especially Leigh and Steve Gafford whom she appreciated for always being there. In her spare time, she loved to sew, do arts and crafts, and was a great cook. Jo Anne had a special place in her heart for all her animals, whom she loved so much. She was loved by all and dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Clara Creed. 

Survivors include her many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; as well as 2 great-great-great-nephews.
