Jo Jo Summerville

Jo Jo Summerville, 61, of Monticello, passed away March 25, 2013. Jo Jo was a humble, loving, funny, free-spirited man, who cared deeply for his family and friends. He was soft-spoken, yet a very hard worker. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah (Harp) Ford; and his father, Grover Summerville. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Collette and Kerry Chapman of California; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Myra Summerville of Alabama; half-brothers, Alan Summerville of California, Mark Summerville of Atlanta; special cousin, Angela Bell, and her husband, Billy, both of Monticello. Funeral Services for Jo Jo will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Riley Jackson, Jr., officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 PM.
