Joann Jackson

Access RoadJoann Jackson of Jefferson, passed away April 4, 2012, at the age of 69. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her plants, watching TV, working on puzzles, and loved her cat, Wussie. She is loved, and will be missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Parks and Addie Lou (Dial) Alexander; and her sister, Theora Frances Hovey.
Survivors include her husband, John Jackson of Jefferson; daughters and sons-in-law, Alecia and Ronnie Mull of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Stacey and Duane Cartledge of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, Richie Mitchell of Jefferson, Jamie and Rebecca Mitchell of Winder, Tyler Jackson of Jefferson; daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Kenny Burts of Marietta, Donna and Bob Zunt of Murfreesboro, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Angie Jackson of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Justin Mull, Scott Young, Jacob Cartledge, Kacey Cartledge, Hannah Mitchell, Ryan Burts, Travis Burts, Mindy Dupois, Christy Hammonds, Robert Zunt, Zack Jackson, Alyssa Jackson; several great-grandchildren; special nieces, Brenda Beals, Deanna Johnson and Lillie Runels; special nephew, Jason Hovey.A Memorial Service for Mrs. Jackson will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Dewey Fisher officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, two hours prior to her service, from 12:00-2:00 PM.
