Joanne Davis Kurz

Joanne Davis Kurz, age 74, of Mansfield, died November 15, 2010, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle.  She was the daughter of the late Willie and Mary Lou Studdard Green, and the widow of the late Charles Kurz and Corry Davis.  An excellent seamstress, Mrs. Kurz enjoyed cooking and loved the outdoors, especially gardening and fishing. She is survived by her daughter, Kathaleen Davis of Monticello; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky Davis of Colorado Springs, CO, Doug and Debbie Davis of Loganville, Martin and Susan Davis of Mansfield; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Kurz will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at New Rocky Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Don Malcom and Rev. Randy Reese, officiating, and interment following in New Rocky Creek Baptist Cemetery.
