John Stanley,

John Mercer Stanley passed away May 30, 2011, at his home in Covington. He was 50 years old at the time of his death. Son of Bill and Hazel Stanley, he was a member of the Zingara Masonic Lodge #519 and Golden Fleece Masonic Lodge #6. Mr. Stanley loved farm animals and was always willing to lend a hand.
Mr. Stanley is survived by his parents, Bill and Hazel Stanley of Covington; daughter, Elizabeth Stanley of Loganville; sons and daughters-in-law, John, Jr. and Amanda Stanley of Conyers, Jonathan Stanley of Great Falls, MT, Daniel and Kayla Stanley of Covington; 8 grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Johnny Walden of Covington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronny and Debbie Stanley, Ricky and Tracy Stanley, all of Covington.
Funeral Services for Mr. Stanley will be held Thursday, June 2, 2011, 11:00 AM, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, with Rev. Billy Sheppard officiating, and interment following in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 1215 Access Road, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 2- 4 and 6 - 8 P.M.
