John Frederick Weber IV, born on February 19, 1967, in Duval, Florida, passed away on February 8, 2025, in Social Circle, Georgia.
John dedicated 35 years of his career to McKenney’s Mechanical Contractors, where he worked as a Master Plumber and a General Superintendent. He took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication to his craft. His quick wit, sarcasm, and caring nature left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
John cherished time spent with family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Mary Weber; his siblings, Todd Weber and Lori Hackler; his daughter, Hannah Duren (Steven); his daughter, Crystal Hicks (Russell) and his son, Randy Wilson (Stacy); and his beloved grandchildren: Landon Kicks, Parker Hicks, Danny Wilson, Kinslee Wilson, Kolby Wilson, and Cullen Duren. John is preceded in death by his father, John Frederick Weber III in 2020.
An avid outdoorsman, John found joy in hunting, trapping, and deep-sea fishing. These passions brought him peace and many cherished memories with loved ones.
A Funeral Service for John will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Randy officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service, from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.
John’s legacy of hard work, humor, and devotion to the family will be deeply missed by all who the privilege of knowing him.
