Johnny Lee Harper

Floyd StreetJohnny Lee Harper, Sr., of Newborn, passed away June 18, 2013, at the age of 76. Mr. Harper enjoyed dancing, gambling and playing the lottery. He loved life, and cherished his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae (Ralston) Harper; and his parents, Earl and Sara Lee (Christian) Harper. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Renee and Edward Graham of Newborn, Pam and Steve Bearden of Oxford, John and Danyelle Harper of Monticello, Jeff Harper and David Roth of Kennesaw; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Harper will be held Friday, June 21, 2013, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Rev. Terry Brock officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, three hours prior to the service, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM.
