Johnny "JJ" Johnson, Sr. of Covington, passed away August 29, 2011, at Social Circle Health and Rehab. He was 60 years old at the time of his death. Mr. Johnson enjoyed expressing his faith and spreading God's word. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Clark Webster and Leona Frances (Worthy) Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Johnson of Covington; daughter and son-in-law, Heather Nicole Danielle and Ronald Wise of Covington; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny Frank, Jr. and Kimberly Johnson of Buckhead, Michael Wayne and Teresa Johnson, Allen Jesse Johnson, all of Newborn; 9 grandchildren; 2 sisters; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605.
