d. January 5, 2020

Johnny Lummus, Sr., of Covington, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020, at 62 years of age. Johnny was an accomplished athlete who, as a former semi-pro and professional boxer, earned a place on the United States Olympic Team, where he proudly represented his country in the 1980 Olympics. Johnny was dedicated to his family and cared for them with an immense and unwavering love. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Lola (Adams) Lummus; and sister, Sue Norton.
