John Willie Ward, Jr.

John Willie Ward, Jr., of Williamson, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the age of 49. John had a gentle soul and always helped those in need. He worked hard, provided for his family, and enjoyed cooking for them. He loved his family and children dearly and will be missed by all. John was preceded in death by his father, John Willie Ward, Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Kristina Grace Ward; daughters, Alisha Ward, Breanna Allen, Madison Draper; sons, Michael Allen, Joshua Ward, J.J. Draper; grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Noah Frick, Addison Ward, Paisley Cook, Aiden Brown, River Blair, Joshua Ward, Jr.; mother, Cordia Jane Licona; sisters, Angel Avina, Rosanna Santana, Lorena Mireles; brothers, Michael Ward, Lorenzo Araiza; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for John will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, 3:30 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Harvey officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service, from 12 Noon – 3:30 P.M.

Governor Brian Kemp’s latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.  Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
