Joseph Pervines Mccord,

Joseph Pervines McCord, III, of Covington, passed away April 6, 2013, at the age of 74.  He loved his family and grandchildren, dearly, and enjoyed going on family vacations. He also loved his Harley and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Pervines McCord, II and Pansye Wilson McCord; step-daughter, Cindy Lynn Bunn; step-son, Daniel George Wishner; sister, Barbara Gibbs.   Survivors include his loving wife, Rosalie Sandifer McCord of Covington, GA; daughter, Brenda McCord of Veince, FL; son, Jody (Wanda) McCord, of Punta Gorda, FL, Michael McCord of Venice, FL, Rusty (Vicki) McCord of North Port, FL; step-sons, Michael (Karen )Wishner of Marble Hill, MO, Jeffrey Wishner of Covington, GA; 20 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Ann Young of Punta Gorda, FL, Patricia ("Babe") Dalton of Nokomis, FL; brother, Michael (Sharon) McCord, Sr. of Nokomis, FL.   A Memorial Service for Mr. McCord will be held at a later date.
