Joseph P. Moss, Sr.

Joseph P. Moss, Sr., of Conyers, formerly of Covington, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019, at the age of 83. Mr. Moss was a member of High Point Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, tinkering around, camping and wood working. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Mr. Moss will be remembered as an amazing and loving husband. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Georgia Moss.

Survivors include his loving wife of 7 years, Merry Laverne Borden-Moss; daughters and son-in-law, Joyce and Joe Adsit, Glee Borden, Mary Kay Moss; sons and daughter-in-law, Pat and Beverly Moss, Jamie Moss, Roger Moss; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Lenora Darby; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Moss will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 12:30 P.M., in Austin Chapel Cemetery, 12177 Flat Shoals Road, in Covington. Friends may visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Wednesday, June 5, from 10:00 - 12:00 P.M.
