Joyce Ginn

Joyce Ginn, of Jersey, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022, at the age of 88. Mrs. Ginn enjoyed working in her flower garden and delighted in talking about it. She was a great cook and her most notable meals were chicken pot pies and chicken stew. In her free time, Mrs. Ginn liked traveling to the mountains and camping. Above all else, she loved her family, her grandsons, and great-granddaughter, Vivian, and the time spent with them. Mrs. Ginn was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Ginn; son, Gary Ginn; daughter-in-law, Annette Ginn; grandson, Adam Ginn; parents, Cleo and Allene Carey; sister, Elizabeth Scarboro (J.N.); and brother, Carlton Carey (Agatha).

Survivors include her grandson, Gary Ginn; great-granddaughter, Vivian Ginn; brother, Gerald Carey (Debora); sister-in-law, Linda Ginn; niece, Natalie Carey Sanford; nephews, Alton Carey, Todd Carey, and Chad Carey.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Ginn will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the funeral home, Wednesday, November 9, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
