J.T. Mask of Covington, passed away July 13, 2018, at the age of 90. Mr. Mask proudly served in the United States Army during World War II in Germany. He retired after working many years for Atlanta Gas Light. Mr. Mask enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and cooking. A family man, he was known for being kind, affectionate, honorable and a man of integrity. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Dempie Mask.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Ann S. Mask; children, Teresa Cowan, Melanie Bell, Randy Norwood and partner, Gabriel Perez, Kevin and Nicole Mask; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Mask will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Chris Conner officiating. A private interment will follow at a later date, in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
