Juanita Davis

Juanita (Eldredge) Davis of Conyers, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the age of 93. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved to share a laugh with her family and friends. Mrs. Davis was a longtime and faithful member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church, in Conyers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ottis T. Davis, Jr.; son, Ron Davis; and her daughter, Gerry Jeanne, who died at the age of 2.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Lou Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Bobby Burdette, all of Conyers; daughter-in-law, Kathy Davis of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Christi and Allen Avant of Buford, Craig and Susan Davis of Covington, Keith Davis of Conyers, Kenneth and Erin Davis of Fort Worth, TX, Mike Davis of Japan, Adam Schroeder, Mark Schroeder, both of Athens; great-grandchildren, Drew and Sammy Avant, both of Buford; siblings, Jack and Helen Eldredge of Toccoa, Joyce and Ray Morris of Tallulah Falls; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Davis will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with her niece, Pastor Cathy Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, following the service, until 1:00 PM. Mrs. Davis' family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Magnolia's Assisted Living, in Conyers, for the love and care they gave to their dear mother.
