Judith (Judy) Shannon Holloway, 60, of Covington died January 4, 2010 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle. Daughter of the late Herschel W. and Julia Elizabeth Shannon, Mrs. Holloway enjoyed painting, reading her Bible and singing. She loved traveling to the mountains and going to Dollywood.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Holloway and Willie Maddox of Oxford, Sherryl Holloway Williams of Social Circle, Deanna Holloway of Covington, Regina Holloway and Phil Smith of Mims, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Darryl and Freda Holloway of Covington; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and James Jenkins, Donna and Jimmy Monk, all of Covington; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Holloway will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 6, 2010 at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, GA, with Pastor Scott Moore officiating and interment following at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 5 - 9 P.M.
