Kathleen Head

Floyd StreetKathleen Head of Covington, passed away October 27, 2011, at the age of 56. Ms. Head was a lifelong resident of Newton County, and graduate of Newton County High School. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church; and was employed by the Waffle House for several years. She loved flowers. Ms. Head was preceded in death by her father, Clarence T. Head; and her sister, Carolyn Farnham. Survivors include her son, Cody Head; mother, Violet Head, both of Covington; and several cousins. Funeral Services for Ms. Head will be held Sunday, October 30, 2011, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Rev. J. Clifton Brown officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, October 29, from 5-8 P.M.
